Another FIR lodged against Kapil Sharma?!
Adding up to all the problems of comedian Kapil Sharma, one more comes along to knock him out! Recently the Mumbai police lodged a fresh FIR against him for illegal construction activities in the mangroves buffer zone. The Versova police station on Wednesday registered a fresh First Information Report (FIR) for destroying the mangroves behind the bungalow where his office resides. The FIR came on the plea of activist S. Daundkar, through his lawyers Abha Singh and Aditya Pratap.
Lawyer Abha Singh released a statement to a leading tabloid and said, “Sharma did not abide by his statutory duty under the law to inform the Anti-Corruption Bureau so that the accused public servant could be trapped red-handed.

On July 16, Kapil Sharma was served a stop-work notice from the Mumbai Municipal Corporation for carrying on illegal construction work for the extension of one floor of the bungalow.”
The Magistrate directed the police officials to immediately take action on the matter and register an FIR. Later, on Wednesday the Versova police investigated the matter thoroughly and filed a final report.
