Alia on Mahesh Bhatt: When Daddy is around, I am not worried!
This conversation between Alia and Mahesh helped calm daddy Mahesh’s nerves.
Recently, the Bhatt family is going through a lot of real life drama especially after the extortionist from Uttar Pradesh threatened the filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, saying he will thrust his actress-daughter Alia and wife Soni Razdan with bullets if he doesn’t manage to give him Rs 50 lakhs.
Mahesh Bhatt confessed that he was more concerned about Alia and his wife’s safety rather than spending money on their life. Further on, Daddy Mahesh also confessed that a one-on-one conversation with Alia helped calm his distressed nerves!
“She was supposed to leave for film promotions in Lucknow. I made her and Soni sit down and explained to them the gravity of the situation. At the same time, I contacted the Mumbai police, who were very efficient. During that point, Alia said with me around, she didn’t need to worry,” added Daddy Bhatt.
