Alia Bhatt wants Katrina & Anushka in the Women’s Cricket Team
Alia Bhatt is running from pillar to post these days to promote her upcoming film, Raazi. Since promoting a film has become as crucial as making one, the actor is making sure the audiences are well-aware of the film and its release on the 11th of May, 2018. If press interviews and public appearances weren’t enough, the actor will now be seen in a segment called Bollywood Presents on Kent Cricket Live, which aired on the 6th of May prior to the IPL match on Star Sports.
On the show, Alia spoke candidly about her opinions on the ongoing Cricket League, “VIVO IPL really does well to bring the country together to celebrate cricket. The tournament also does well to give youngsters the opportunity to showcase their talents by giving them a big opportunity”, she said. When asked who would she like to see in a fictional Celebrity Women’s Cricket Team, this is what she said, “Anushka Sharma would make a good captain of the team with Kangana Ranaut as an excellent all-rounder and Katrina Kaif as the key fielder as she is extremely agile. I would name the team Chaan Mulgi”. And Chaan Mulgi means Good Girls in Marathi.
On the work-front, Alia is working on Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, opposite Ranbir Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, with Ranveer Singh and Abhishek Varman’s Kalank, where she’ll star opposite Varun Dhawan.
