Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan to star in Abhishek Varman’s Shiddat

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan make an awesome on-screen pair. The duo has worked together thrice for Student of The Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, and the latest Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Well now, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are reported to be back on the silver screen with Abhishek Varman‘s Shiddat. According to reports, the movie is in its scripting stage, and Abhishek along with Karan and Alia are working on it. The film is said to be a two-hero film. Names like Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoor are being considered for the other lead of the movie.

Shiddat is rumoured to be a romantic drama and might go on floors by next year. Abhishek Varman has earlier worked with Alia Bhatt in 2 States.

On the work front, Varun is lined up with Judwaa 2. He will be starring opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. Directed by  David Dhawan the movie is a sequel to Salman Khan‘s 1997 blockbuster Judwaa.

On the other hand, Alia will be next seen in a superhero film titled Dragon, by Ayan Mukerji. The 24-year-old actress has also lined up  Zoya Akhtar‘s Gully Boy alongside Ranveer Singh.
