WHAT! Alia Bhatt REFUSED to be part of Prabhas’ Saaho

When Shraddha Kapoor was paired opposite Prabhas in Saaho we thought that she replaced Anushka Shetty in the film. But now we come to know that it was not Anushka Shetty but another Bollywood actress that Shraddha had replaced. Shraddha Kapoor replaced Alia Bhatt in Saaho. Apparently, Alia Bhatt was the first choice of the makers for Saaho.

A source to a leading entertainment portal said “Though Shraddha has been finalized and has already started working on Saaho, the makers were actually eyeing Alia opposite the actor. They even approached Alia but she wasn’t too kicked about the role she was offered in Saaho which is why she opted out.”

Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor are known in the film industry for their unique acting abilities. Alia has made some good choices of films like Udta Punjab, Highway which have been liked by the critics and the audience. Whereas Shraddha Kapoor has worked in movies like ABCD 2, Baaghi which have fared well at the box office but have not much recognition from the critics.

Hence it will be interesting to see if Alia’s loss will be beneficial for Shraddha Kapoor or no?

Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho will hit the screens in mid-2018.
