Ali Fazal takes notes from these Oscar nominees!

Ali Fazal is surely making quite a splash worldwide with his film Victoria and Abdul, which has already started off on a good note in the U.K. The film is now set for its wide American release this week and then India the week after.

The actor has been traveling with the cast across the world and has been meeting some of the best talents from across the globe at various film festivals the film has been to. After having shared screen space with the most iconic actress, Dame Judi Dench, Ali was recently spotted hanging out with Oscar Nominated Actress Jessica Chastain who’s known for her role for films like The Help, Zero Dark Thirty, Miss Sloane and several others. Joining them was iconic actor Sam Rockwell. The trio met at a recent gathering and exchanged several notes over lunch about their respective upcoming films. Ali, who’s making his big lead debut with the film was told by the actors, “They told me to have fun as, obviously, it’s my first time here, which they said I will always remember. It was sweet”.

Speaking about their enlightening conversations, Ali added, “We were together where Jessica was promoting Aaron Sorkin’s Molly’s Game, while Sam Rockwell was there with Martin McDonagh’s Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. We hadn’t seen each other’s projects but they knew about Victoria & Abdul and were excited about it”.

The trailer had left us impressed and we can’t wait to see as to how the film turns out to be.
