Akshay Kumar starrer Gold has been delayed

Talaash director Reema Kagti is all set to bless Bollywood with her third film. After Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. and Talaash, Gold starring Akshay Kumar will be Reema’s third directorial venture.

The movie is based on the story of the Indian hockey team led by Balbir Singh, which won the first Olympic medal for the country as a free nation in 1948.

Akshay, who plays the role of team India’s coach was extremely excited for this project and therefore had started training for the role with immense dedication.

However, it looks like things are not going as they were planned as the movie which was slated to go on floors this July has been delayed and rescheduled to October due to reasons not yet known.

Gold is slated to release on the 15^th of August 2018 and we hope the movie releases in time for us all to experience a great sense of patriotism on the Independence Day of our country
