Akshay Kumar spills the real story behind his Indian flag photo
Akshay Kumar is one of the most loved actors of B-Town. But recently Akshay was trolled for holding the Indian National Flag upside down at the Women’s World Cup final at Lord’s stadium in London. The picture went viral on the internet and Akshay was criticized and trolled a lot for the same. Soon after Akki even removed the picture and even apologized for the same.

However, at the promotional event of Toilet – Ek Prem Katha when Akshay was asked about the controversy he said “I was unfurling the flag at that time and it was upside down. I was trying to steady it and hold it right but someone from behind clicked the photo. I didn’t even realize. If you watch it on television, you will see I am holding it right. Still, if I have hurt someone’s sentiments, I apologize to them.”
Akshay Kumar on various occasions has shown his love and respect for the country. He has also come in support of the soldiers and launched the Bharat Ke Veer app for Indian soldiers.
On the work front Toilet – Ek Prem Katha will hit the screens on August 11.
