Akshay Kumar proves he’s BIGGER than Salman Khan & Shah Rukh Khan!
Akshay Kumar may not rake in as much money with his films as Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan but still has proven to be BIGGER than the two Super stars. Forbes released a list of the Highest Paid Celebrities in the world and we were shocked to know that Shah Rukh Khan’s name was missing this year. Known to be the second richest entertainer in the world, it’s quite shocking not to see his name this time.
As far as Salman Khan is concerned, he has found himself on the 82nd position whereas the Khiladi is on the 76th. The Dabangg star’s income has been revealed to be over $ 37 M and Akshay’s net worth is around $ 40 M. Given the amount of profits his films have made in the last one year, it’s not really surprising to see his name ahead of Salman. Forbes has taken into consideration the actors’ earnings from June 1, 2017 to June 1, 2018, and both of Akshay’s films, Toilet- Ek Prem Katha and Pad Man, have been taken into consideration.
As far as Bhai is concerned, apart from the blockbuster success of Tiger Zinda Hai, he only had Tubelight which went into losses due to its high budget and distribution price. Given the business module Akshay works with, it seems he’s likely to march way ahead of the Khans this year as well. It’s time for the distributors and producers to stop relying on big stars and start working with a controlled budget.
