Akshay Kumar shares first look of Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor from Padman

Akshay Kumar’s Padman has been in the news ever since Akshay has preponed the release date of the film. Now Akshay has finally given us a glimpse of his two leading ladies Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte from the film.

Akshay Kumar shared a black and white photo with Radhika Apte. He captioned the photo as “The REASON he became #PADMAN…” The two will be seen playing a husband and wife in the movie.

In the second picture, he is seen with Sonam Kapoor in a bullock cart ride. He captioned “The STRENGTH behind #PADMAN…,” From the picture and the caption it looks like Sonam will be playing a social worker in the film.

Directed by R Balki Padman is a biopic on Arunachalam Muruganantham and will chronicle his journey of finding a way to make cheap, affordable sanitary napkins for women in his village.

The film is set to release on January 26, 2018.

There were reports that Padman and Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 will clash on the big screen but recently in an interview Akshay Kumar mentioned that both the movies will not clash. It will either be 2.0 or Padman
