Akshay Kumar and Twinke Khanna get a legal notice?

All the applause and the praises Akshay Kumar received for his performance in Suresh Desai’s Rustom doesn’t seem that rosy anymore as an ex soldiers has filled a legal notice against the couple for the auctioning of the naval suit worn during the film. According the a leading daily, the notice came from ex-soldiers, who claimed that “by putting (the suit)  in auction, you have shown no respect for national interest (and) have also played with the sentiments of armed forces personnel and their widows and their family members”.

It goes on to state that after the January 2016 attacks at the Air Force Station at Pathankot, the Indian Army had issued another notice stating that it would be “illegal” for civilians and shopkeepers to buy or sell combat clothes as it goes against “national interest” . The notice filed against the couple states that by auctioning the suit they have shown no respect for national interest.
