Ajay Devgn to take charge in Total Dhamaal!

Indra Kumar is going to be back with a bang with the third installment of the Dhamaal franchise, titled Total Dhamaal. Quite recently, we got to know that Sanjay Dutt, who was an integral part of the franchise, chose to walk out on the film due to lack of dates and the content of the film, what Dutt thought was something that he cannot watch comfortably with family in a theater.

However, Indra Kumar was quick to clarify that the film is a total family entertainer and although Sanjay is no longer a part, the film will definitely feature Riteish Deshmukh.

Now the buzz around this film is that Ajay Devgn has been roped in to play the male lead in the film. Director Indra Kumar states “Ajay, my partner Ashok Thakeria, and I have had a fabulous association. Ishq is still one of the most successful comedy films in Bollywood and here we are, 20 years later, with another family entertainer. The Dhamaal franchise has a strong fan following. Ajay’s association makes it even more special.”

Ajay is currently on a family vacation in the Maldives. While he is having a much-deserved family time, a source close to the actor confirms the news by saying “Like the Golmaal franchise, Dhamaal has its loyal audience. Ajay is glad to reunite with Indra for Total Dhamaal. He is hoping the team will come up with a madcap comedy that will have people rolling on the floor laughing. The idea is to make a full-on entertainer.”
