Aiyaary: The team cooks, climbs and plays with the Jawans!
Quite recently, the cast and crew of Neeraj Pandey‘s ‘Aiyaary’ visited the BSF camp in Jaisalmer and spent three days at the training camp, as well as surveillance post at the Wagah border, where the cast and crew were seen celebrating Republic Day with the jawans.
While the training camp was situated within the city of Jaisalmer, the border with the neighboring country was almost two hours away from the city. Here, Manoj and Sidharth, just like our real heroes, began their training drill early in the day, as all drills have to start before sunrise. Interestingly, the temperatures were really low at that time of the day.
The physical training included long jump, jumping over 6 feet wall, rope climbing. Sidharth Malhotra also practiced carrying an injured soldier on the shoulder which was monitored by mentor Manoj Bajpayee. After several rounds of drills, along with the girls, they learned the maintenance of guns, how they are taken care of and even how to use them.

Long story short, not only they learned about the daily lives of the BSF jawans and duties at the border, they even spent time seeing everything happening. It was a surreal experience to see our borders from that up close and personal.
This surely goes to prove that Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee’s first ever collaboration is surely something that will blow our minds away.
Aiyaary will hit theatres on the February 9th. Are you excited?
