Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to begin shooting for Fanney Khan next month!

We had earlier reported in our breaking news that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor will be back on the big screen for Fanney Khan after 18 years. The news of the two big stars coming back had already brought a lot of excitement – and now, to spice things up more the makers have revealed that Ash will begin shooting for Fanney Khan in August this year and the film will hit screens next year in April.

Fanney Khan is a musical-drama and will showcase the lead actors in very distinct avatars. Anil will be seen playing the titular character of a father to a struggling singer. Aishwarya will be seen in the avatar of a charismatic singer who will win hearts with her positivity and freshness. However, Ash and Anil will reportedly not be romancing on-screen.

Fanney Khan also marks the directorial debut of Atul Manjrekar. The film will be entirely shot in Mumbai. Earlier it was reported that the film will be a Hindi adaptation of the English and Dutch film Everybody’s Famous! However, fresh reports suggest that the makers have made significant changes to the script, thus turning it into a new one.
