After Don and Don 2, Shah Rukh Khan to return with Don 3 in 2020?

Shah Rukh Khan, in 2006, gave an urban charm and his charismatic menace to the iconic character of Amitabh Bachchan’s Don. The remake was upped in style and sass, and ended with a delicious twist. In Don 2, the actor returned to wipe off some unfinished business. It has been seven years, and fans have been demanding Don 3 from the actor and the makers. Well, there’s some great news as the third film in the franchise is all set to roll.

A source of Excel Entertainment stated, “Excel Entertainment‘s next project will indeed be ‘Don 3’. They have already got the idea worked out and the team is getting a proper script in place. SRK will return as ‘Don’ and he has liked the basic concept. They are set for a date in the later half of 2019 to start filming. The lead cast will be altered and they are deciding on a Heroine first.”

It’s confirmed Priyanka Chopra won’t star in the film and there were reports that Deepika Padukone might star in the third part. However, the makers are yet to confirm the same! But we cannot contain our excitement to see SRK return as Don in 2020!
