A train named after Ranveer Singh in Switzerland!

Did the headline shock you? Well, this is something that is indeed true. Very soon, a train in Switzerland is going to be named after Ranveer Singh. Since, he’s the brand ambassador of Switzerland and has attracted a lot of tourists to the country, and has decided to launch a train on his name and Ranveer himself will inaugurate it on April 30. The train is reportedly called Ranveer On Tour.

Before the Befikre star, Shah Rukh Khan and the late Yash Chopra were the most popular faces in the country, but since Ranveer has, over the years, become the Gen-Next superstar with an enviable fan following, Switzerland tourism decided to cash-in on his blazing popularity. This achievement is quite unique in its own way.

On the work-front, Ranveer Singh has three back-to-back films lined-up for releases. His first release this year after Padmaavat will be Rohit Shetty’s Simmba, scheduled for a 28th December release. His next film will be Gully Boy, opposite Alia Bhatt, which is slated for a 14th February 2019 release. His most ambitious and challenging role will be in Kabir Khan’s 83’, a biopic on Kapil Dev, where Ranveer will play the former Indian Cricket Captain is touted to release on 30th  August 2019.
