Abhishek Bachchan: It’s unfortunate that I couldn’t be a part of Sarkar 3

Abhishek Bachchan confesses that he will miss sharing screen space with his father in the film’s latest instalment, Sarkar 3.

It is mandatory that the Sarkar franchise stars the Bachchan family. The third edition, however, will not see Bachchan Junior sharing screen space with his dearest daddy Bachchan.

“It’s unfortunate that I couldn’t be part of Sarkar 3. My character was killed in Sarkar 2. This was one of my favourite films and also one of my favourite characters to play. I’d love to be part of the continuing saga in some way or the other.” said Abhishek.

It’s a privilege for Bachchan Junior to share the screen with his father. After Sarkar 3 not working out, Abhishek is very keen to do another film with his dearest daddy  “Every time I get to do a film with him, I emerge stronger as an actor. Every film with him has been a memorable experience. And movies are all about memories.”

Abhishek Bachchan has been completely bowled over by his father’s performances saying, “He continues to surprise all of us. Actors of my generation and those before and after me can’t stop learning from him.”
