Aashiqui turns into villainy for Mohit Suri and Aditya Roy Kapur?
Despite working with heavyweights like Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar in films like London Dreams, Guzaarish and Action Replayy, Aditya Roy Kapur’s career went kaput. It was Mohit Suri’s Aashiqui 2 that breathed some life into his ailing career. As fate would have it, his string of flops continued, with all his solo-hero releases like Daawat-E-Ishq, Fitoor and OK Jaanu sinking without a trace.
We had reported earlier how Aditya Roy Kapur and Mohit Suri were collaborating once again for a love triangle-cum-thriller, with Sunny Singh as one of the leads. The hunt for the leading lady still continues as both the contenders, Kriti Sanon and Disha Patani, have opted out to focus on their other projects. However, sources suggest Aditya and Mohit have also parted ways as the director could not handle the actor’s conditions. If that has actually happened, the film could be in serious trouble because the makers already are without a heroine and only Sunny Singh is successfully on-board.
On the work-front, Aditya Roy Kapur will reportedly play Varun Dhawan’s on-screen brother in Abhishek Varman’s Shiddat, which is touted to release on the 19th of April, 2019.
