AANKHEN 2: Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan & Jacqueline Fernandez roped in for the thriller!

Anees Bazmee was all set to make a sequel to the 2002 heist thriller, Aankhen, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen. The sequel, Aankhen 2,  had retained Bachchan’s character of Vijay Singh Rajput while introducing new principal characters, which included Arshad Warsi and Ileana D’ Cruz. But now it seems the film is going nowhere and Bazmee and the makers have decided to green light the project with a fresh cast.

This fresh cast just got massive and mammoth as reports suggest Saif Ali Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez have been roped in to play titular roles along with Amitabh Bachchan. It’s also being stated that Paresh Rawal will also be a part of the sequel despite dying in the first part. A source confirmed, “Saif Ali Khan has been cast for the movie. He will play the main protagonist who goes against Big B, who plays the nemesis here again.:

It also added, “There will be several twists and turns in the whole plot this time and another young hero is being spoken to for the other role.” Khan is on a signing spree and so is Bachchan, the former has films like Jawaani Jaaneman, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Go Goa Gone 2 and a cameo in Dil Bechara. The latter, on the other hand, is gearing up for Brahmastra, Jhund and Barf!
