You won’t believe how Ranveer got back at Sushant Singh Rajput!

We have reported earlier that Sushant Singh Rajput and Ranveer Singh don’t share a camaraderie and it all began with Aditya Chopra’s ‘Befikre’.

Our Khabri Keeda tells us that Aditya had initially signed SSR to play the male lead opposite Vaani Kapoor as he was thinking about making a bolder version of ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ (2013 film, which starred these two actors). While Sushant signed the film, he was not yet ready to start shooting for it due to some delays in ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’. While SSR was having date issues for ‘Befikre’, another actor approached Aditya Chopra for the role and the filmmaker couldn’t say no! That’s when Ranveer Singh ate Sushant’s piece of cake!

This, of course, didn’t go down well with SSR, who took it to a personal level and thus began B-Town’s latest rivalry! Sushant’s eviction from the project was soon followed by a heated argument between him and Ranveer. Apparently, the ‘Befikre’ actor concluded their prolonged debate with a nasty, double-meaning dig at SSR by saying, ‘Tu balla sambhal, main ball sambhalta hoon!’

We hear the two actors are not on talking terms since then (quite expected!). This isn’t the first time Ranveer is stepping into Sushant’s shoes. As we reported earlier, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ (2013) was also first offered to SSR, who had to turn it down due to unavailability of dates (and we all know who nailed it opposite Deepika Padukone)!
