Will Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Fanne Khan be postponed again?
Fanne Khan, starring Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao, was scheduled for a 15th June, 2018 release. However, the makers didn’t want to clash with Salman Khan’s Race 3, which also incidentally stars Anil Kapoor. The new release date that was announced was the 13th of July, 2018. Alas, it seems this release date also is in jeopardy.
As we broke the news a few weeks ago, things have begun to shake up for the once promising production house, KriArj Entertainment. After a public spat with John Abraham over Parmanu, and the underwhelming performance of their ventures, Pad Man and Pari, Prernaa Arora and Arjun N. Kapoor seem to be in a financial crisis. This is the reason why Fanne Khan might be pushed from July 13 as well. That’s not all, we also reported how Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was very keen to star in the remake of the 1964, Woh Kaun Thi?, is now reluctant to work with KriAarj on the said film. However, there’s no official confirmation on either of the two reports, all we have to do is wait for an official statement from the makers themselves.
