Sridevi’s next with an Iranian director?

Sridevi is gearing up for her upcoming film Mom, which, judging by the trailer seems to be a gut-wrenching thriller the posters and stills of which have gotten us all really curious. The teaser of Mom seems to promise us to make us feel multiple emotions during the screening of the main feature presentation.

We had been wondering as to what will be next for the evergreen beauty after this thriller flick, and that’s when a little piece of news came to us.

If the source is to be believed, an Iranian director who goes by the name of Hamid Reza Nehmatullahi is reportedly penning down a script for the evergreen beauty. The script will bring to the silver screen the life or an episode from the life of the world-renowned Iranian poet Saadi Shirazi. Saadi is a 13th-century poet who hails from Shiraz, a city in Iran which is now known for its literary history and abundance of gardens. As per the source, the Iranian director has expressed his desire to cast Sridevi as the lead.
