Sonam Kapoor’s next to be based on a book

Sonam Kapoor‘s last film Neerja became a huge hit at the box office. Now our Khabri Keeda has dropped in some news about Sonam’s next project. According to KK, Sonam will next star in a film based on the 2008 novel ‘The Zoya Factor‘ written by Anuja Chauhan.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment had initially bought the rights to adapt Chauhan’s book. But things didn’t work out in their favor. Now, producer, Pooja Shetty has bought the rights.

Speaking about the book, the story is based on a Rajput girl named Zoya Singh Solanki. She works as an executive in an advertising agency but ends up becoming a lucky charm for the Indian Cricket Team. The story is based on how the team takes her along for every game to win the 2010 Cricket World Cup.

Sonam Kapoor starrer Aisha was also adapted from Jane Austen’s Emma.  Aisha failed at the box office but it seems like Sonam is determined on giving this another try.
