Is Shahid Kapoor ignoring his mother’s next film, Alif?

Shahid Kapoor is one of the finest stars we have in the industry today but when it comes to being a family man, we have our doubts. Shahid’s mother, Neelima Azeem has just wrapped up her upcoming Alif and the movie is due for release. Generally, when anyone’s movie is due for release, Shahid makes it a point to tweet or re-tweet the poster, trailer or even wish well for the stars. This time though, he has decided to give it a miss.

Yes, you read that right! Shahid Kapoor hasn’t tweeted about his mother’s upcoming movie and we couldn’t help but ask Neelima if all’s well at home. Khabri Keeda spotted Neelima at an event and decided to ask her about this. Neelima said, “He is a big star now, he’s a superstar. Why will he promote my movie?”

KK also tells us that Neelima was looking for a financer when she had the opportunity to produce a movie. This was when Shahid had just released Kaminey and the star was going great at the B.O. Shahid didn’t help put in a word for his mother then and he continues to ignore her projects even today.

We wonder if everything is ok between Shahid and his mom?
