Rishi Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi to Star in Spanish Film Remake

Yes, you heard it right! Rishi Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi will soon be seen together in a Hindi remake of a Spanish crime thriller mystery movie titled, The Body (Spanish: El Cuerpo)

The movie revolved around a detective who investigates the disappearances of a woman’s corpse from a morgue and tries to uncover the cause of her death.

To shed more light on this movie: it was a huge hit in Spain whooping USD 12 million at the BO. Our KK just shared some interesting facts. He stated that Azure Entertainment has acquired the rights to remake the film in Hindi.

On the other hand, as per our Khabri Keeda, Nikkhil Advani will be joining hands with Azure Entertainment to produce the film.

What we also know is that the film which is slated to be mounted on sets early next year will be directed by Jeethu Joseph the one who directed the south original movie Drishyam. The movie will be shot on a start to finish schedule in and around Mumbai.

As for the cast of the film, it’s just Emraan Hashmi and Rishi Kapoor have been considered for the project while the hunt for the two leading actresses is currently underway.
