REVEALED: The REAL REASON behind Priyanka Chopra dropping Salute!

Just about yesterday, we brought you an exciting piece of news that after months of meetings and speculations, Shah Rukh Khan is now FINALLY going to be a part of Salute, the biopic of the astronaut Rakesh Sharma which had very much been in the news since the day Aamir Khan had given a nod for it initially. But, clearly, something happened, which led to Aamir walking out of the project, and then, Siddharth Roy Kapur, who was adamant on casting a bigger actor, finally got the Zero star on board.

As many remember, after Aamir Khan walked out, Priyanka Chopra, who was supposed to play the leading lady, too called off the project on her part. However, while some say that it was because of the idea of casting Shah Rukh Khan while the official statements say that because of her being unable to allocate any dates to the film. But, our Khabri Keeda says that there’s more to it than what meets the eye here.

Although we are not quite sure about the SRK bit, for that may or may not have influenced PC’s decision, KK says that it’s a case of downright unprofessional behavior on the makers’ part!

Khabri Keeda says that when Aamir Khan chose to not do the biopic, the makers did not even allegedly consider telling the Quantico actress about the developments and even stopped approaching her for the film. So, Priyanka, reportedly and obviously furious, did lash out and made it known that it’s not really how things happen around and decided to not get onto the Salute bandwagon for good!

So, this makes us ask a question: After what reportedly happened between the makers and PC, will they EVER join hands for a film?

On the work front, Apart from the third season of Quantico, Priyanka has a couple of Hollywood films in the pipeline too, such as A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t It Romantic?
