Demonetisation hits RGV’s Nuclear!
Earlier this month, Ram Gopal Varma made a very dramatic announcement of his magnum opus worth a whopping Rs 340 crores! We came to know about his first international film, ‘Nuclear’ through its poster published on the cover of a leading tabloid in the form of a full-page advertisement! (While this took everyone by surprise as filmmakers normally reveal their upcoming project through a news story, but anything is possible with Ramu!) RGV also tweeted about the film and shared its poster.
While RGV successfully created a hype around the movie, we are now a little concerned over the film’s future. Our Khabri Keeda tells us that the film has been affected due to the government’s sudden demonetisation move and the makers have decided to shelf the movie! This of course did not go down well with RGV as already a lot of publicity has been done for the project and he himself has borne the initial marketing expenses. Ramu being upset is evident from his tweets!

‘Nuclear’ produced by CMA Global and directed by Ram Gopal Varma deals with a possibility of World War III. RGV had announced via Twitter that the big budget film would be shot in America, China, Russia, Yemen and India. (We wonder if demonetisation turned out to be more powerful than a ‘Nuclear’ strike!)
Ram Gopal Varma is presently shooting for the third installment of the ‘Sarkar’ franchise, which is scheduled to hit screens next year. The film titled ‘Sarkar 3’, stars Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpayee, Jackie Shroff, Yami Gautam, Ronit Roy and Amit Sadh.
