Arjun Kapoor might NEVER work with Ekta Kapoor

We had reported earlier that while the Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Half Girlfriend was in its post-production phase, Arjun was not too pleased with the final outcome. In the fit of this, Arjun had made his concerns known to the director Mohit Suri, who in turn suggested to have a word with Ekta Kapoor, the producer.

Following Suri’s advice, Arjun had a word with Ekta, who seemed quite welcoming of Arjun’s suggestion at first, but never returned to his calls again as she wanted no interference from the lead actors in the matters of production.

Fast forward to the present day, Half Girlfriend made it to theaters on May 19^th and sunk miserably at the box office. Due to this, Ekta Kapoor called a small meeting with Mohit Suri post the success party of the film to understand the reason behind the films’ failure. One would expect that this time around, Arjun would be involved so that he could give his insight, given that he is the son of a well-known producer himself.

But, guess what? As per our Khabri Keeda, even then Arjun Kapoor was not invited to the meeting. Seems like Ekta and Mohit were avoiding an “I told you so” moment!

Given the uncooperative nature of the producer, seems like Arjun will think twice before joining hands again, or might not work with them at all!

Guess some people should understand that although one should be focused on their individual tasks, it doesn’t hurt to take an opinion from someone.
