Aankhein 2 featuring a multi-star cast like Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Arjun Rampal has been put on the back burner!
Director Anees Bazmee’s Aankhein 2, a sequel to Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Aankhein created a buzz like never before due to its multi-star cast. The film’s star cast included Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Ileana D’cruz and south actress Regina Cassandra in pivotal roles
However, our Khabri Keeda told us that the most awaited sequel might not really happen any time soon. Mr. K.K informed us that the movie has been shelved due to its unrealistic budget with the cost of roping in so many stars.
The film is heavily VFX based and would amount into an unimaginative increase in the films budget, therefore forcing the makers to shelve the film.
Here’s hoping the makers do find a budget to release this film. ‘Cause with a star cast like this, the film is sure to make big bucks at the Box Office!
