Akshay Kumar to team up with Abbas Mustan!

Akshay Kumar and Abbas Mustan go back a long way. In fact, we know Akki as Khiladi Kumar because of his first film with them, Khiladi (1992). In the 21^st century, the duo came together for films like Aitraaz and Ajnabee which did fairly well at the box office.

As per KK, Akki has given the nod to the director duos’ next which will be an action thriller. The film in question will reportedly go on floors by the end of next year since Akki is currently busy with the shoot of Gold and will begin shooting for Battle Of Saragarhi (or Mogul, whichever he chooses to do first).

But, should we really be excited about this film? Considering that the last disaster that the duo gave out in the form of Machine, I am honestly not too pumped up about this news. Abbas Mustan seemed to have lost their touch as far as filmmaking is concerned, and Machine is proof of that.

On the other hand, we know for a fact that Akki won’t simply give any film a go-ahead until and unless the script has something to be excited about. So, we have a ray of hope there.

Only time will tell as to what they have in store for us.
