Aishwarya rejects SLB’s Padmavati offer?

After Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave us a whole new perspective of her sultry, sexy avatar and the audience just couldn’t get enough! Her cameo in the film with Ranbir Kapoor was more the talk of the town than the protagonists of the movie themselves. Her role embodied a beautiful poet who had a steamy affair with Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor) and post that, it was easy to say that Aishwarya is the undisputed queen of cameos!

Since her sizzling performance in ADHM won many hearts, Sanjay Leela Bhansali picked his muse Aishwarya to do a cameo in his upcoming film starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. The Aishwarya Rai-Sanjay Leela Bhansali combination has always been a winner with films like Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Guzaarish!

Aishwarya was to create the same ADHM magic in SLB’s Padmavati not only with a few important scenes but also with an item number in the film! Our Khabri Keeda has now informed us that unfortunately Aishwarya has outright rejected the role! Although she hasn’t stated a reason for this ouster we feel she expected something more from her fav director.

Maybe the actress opted out of this role because it wasn’t as exciting and intense as expected or maybe she just didn’t want to play second fiddle to Deepika in the film?
