Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to star in the remake of Raat Aur Din

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stunned everyone with her performance in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The actress is currently shooting for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Fanney Khan. Well, now our Khabri Keeda has dropped in some news about Aishwarya’s next project after Fanney Khan.

According to KK, Aishwarya will next star in dark thriller will be an adaptation of a yesteryear classic. Apparently, the film will be a remake of 1967 Nargis-starrer Raat Aur Din.

Aishwarya will be stepping into the shoes of Nargis for the film. The remake will be produced by Prerna Aroraa and Arjun N Kapoor’s KriArj Entertainment and will be directed by Siddharth Anand.

For those who don’t know Nargis played the role of a woman named Varuna with multiple personality disorder.

Aishwarya will begin shooting for the film after completing Fanney Khan. The film is a musical-drama and will showcase the lead actors in very distinct avatars. Anil will be seen playing the titular character of a father to a struggling singer. Aishwarya will be seen in the avatar of a charismatic singer who will win hearts with her positivity and freshness. However, Ash and Anil will reportedly not be romancing on-screen.
