OMG: BMC demolishes Arjun Kapoor’s Gym!

Recently reports stated that Arjun Kapoor had received a notice from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) regarding an illegal construction in his apartment. The civic bodies demolished the illegally built space at his Juhu home – Raheja Orchid.

The BMC had issued the first notice to the actor in March followed by one in December asking Arjun to allow municipal staff on his premises to demolish the unauthorized structure.

Assistant Municipal Commissioner Parag Masurkar had said, “We have given them enough time to produce supporting documents to prove that the structure is legal but they failed. Now we have issued the final order asking Arjun Kapoor to allow us to enter his premises to demolish the unauthorized structure on the terrace.”

Soon after he received a notice from the BMC, he requested the BMC officials to let him dismantle the gym himself and promised that he will do so by last week. However, after failing to complete the task at hand, the civic body was forced to demolish it. Since his Gym has been demolished, the actor will have to look for an alternative.

Arjun is currently shooting for ‘Mubarakan’ with Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty.
