BLACKBUCK POACHING CASE: Salman Khan’s fate hangs in the balance!

Salman Khan, who was accused of killing two BlackBucks while filming Hum Saath Saath Hain in Jodhpur in 1998, is yet to be acquitted in the case. The Rajasthan High Court found the actor guilty and ordered a five year-imprisonment and fine of Rs. 10,000. The actor challenged the verdict of the Court in February this year whose petition is to be heard today in the Sessions Court.

The actor’s fate hangs in the balance because if the petition is dismissed, he may have to go behind the bars for a period of five years which will be detrimental to his career and his producers and directors as well. But if the order by the High Court is set aside, it will be a major relief for Khan and his family.
