Shah Rukh Khan to debut in the South with the Vijay-Nayanthara starrer Thalapathy, 63!

Yes! You read that right! Shah Rukh Khan, who has been ruling Bollywood since the last few decades, is all set to charm the audiences down the south. If the latest news is anything to go by, the makers of the upcoming Vijay starrer, Thalapathy 63, have roped in the superstar to act in the film.

Reportedly, the actor will be seen in a cameo which is expected to be of a significant impact on the storyline. As per a Tamil website, the actor might be appearing as a cop in the Vijay-starrer.

Well, Shah Rukh Khan is quite famous among the South audience, though he had not have acted in any South movies. His films like Dil Se, Happy New Year and Ra.One were dubbed in Tamil and Telugu. Interestingly, the actor had shared screen space with Ajith Kumar in his Hindi film Asoka more than a decade ago.

Apart from Shah Rukh, Jackie Shroff is also a part of the movie and speculations say that he is doing the role with a negative shade. The music direction of the movie will be done by none other than the music maestro, AR Rahman.

Produced by AGS Entertainment, Thalapathy 63 is written-directed by Atlee. Nayanthara is the female lead in the movie, which has Vivek, Kathir, Yogi Babu, Daniel Balaji and a host of actors are part of the supporting cast. It is expected to release on Diwali 2019!
