Both Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 and Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika to be postponed?
Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut’s respective films, Super 30 and Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, are not only two of the most awaited biopics of 2019 but also two of the most controversial ones in recent times. If the former was in the news because of sexual harassment charges against its director, Vikas Bahl, the latter came in the limelight due to the over-interference of its leading lady. So much so that Sonu Sood, who was to essay a key character, walked out. Owing to these factors, it seems both the films may be postponed.
Roshan and Ranaut were all set to clash at the box-office with these films on January 25, 2019, but the post-productions are yet to be completed. Talking about Manikarnika, a source stated, “The post-production and the special effects are far from done. There are big epic-scaled battle sequences which require a lot of computer graphics. The lead actress, Kangana, insisted on re-shooting some of the battle sequences after she took over the direction. All this process has had been costly and time-consuming.”
As far as Super 30 is concerned, reports stated Kabir Khan may take over the director’s seat and re-shoot a lot of scenes which may lead to the delay. However, the makers have continuously denied such rumors and stated that it will very much release on time. Let’s see!
