Diljit Dosanjh & Kriti Sanon’s Arjun Patiala to release in February 2019?

Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon are all set to collaborate for Rohit Jugraj’s next directorial Arjun Patiala. The film also stars Varun Sharma, who has already worked with Sanon in Dilwale and Raabta. This comedy was all set to release on September 13 this year, but given the multiple releases and way too many box-office clashes that suffocated the month, the makers decided to postpone the film to 2019. The movie is complete!

It’s a film that resolves around a tall journalist, played by Sanon, and her love story with a comparatively short man Diljit, who apparently plays a police officer. This was the first look that was shared by the makers on social media earlier this year:-

The basic premise reminds us of the 2005 Main Meri Patni Aur Woh, where Rajpal Yadav and Rituparna Sengupta played a married couple stuck with the same issue causing hilarity and some charming bits. Coming to the film’s release, the makers are planning to lock the month of February. However, this time too, they may have to face a box-office clash as the entire month has been booked.

14th- Gully Boy

22nd- De De Pyaar De
