LIFE IN A METRO 2: Aditya Roy Kapur to star opposite Taapsee Pannu

Anurag Basu’s Life In A Metro 2 is one of the most awaited movies since it was announced. The makers have already roped in Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao. Now as per the latest reports, Aditya Roy Kapur has also joined the cast and will be seen opposite none other than the Pink actress Taapsee Pannu.

A source confirmed the news and was quoted saying, “Aditya Roy Kapoor has been cast for Anurag’s film that is being made on the lines of his earlier movie Life in A… Metro (2007), but it is likely to have a different title. The team was scouting for a good-looking Gen-Y actor. Bhushan Kumar, who is producing the project along with Basu have met Aditya and narrated the part to him. Aditya has given a green signal and signed on the dotted line.”

Talking about their role and clearing the rumors surrounding the film, the source further revealed, “Aditya will feature in the same story as Taapsee. This will be the first time they will be paired opposite each other. There were reports that the Manmarziyaan actress has been replaced by Fatima, but that is incorrect. In fact, the Dangal heroine has been approached for a different role in the same movie. Unlike the other three stories, Taapsee and Adi’s plot will have a funny take on love.”
