SHOCKING! When Shah Rukh Khan said he wanted to quit films
Shah Rukh Khan has been hailed as the Uncrowned King of Hindi Cinema! He has been entertaining and enthralling the audiences for over 26 years. But there came a time when he wanted to hang his boots as an actor and quit. You read that right! And SRK spoke about it recently when he greeted the Indian para-athletes who are all set to represent India at the Asian Para Games 2018.
He said, “It was around August 15 or 16. I woke up in the morning… I felt like not going to work. I did not want to do more now. I wanted to cancel everything. I thought I have done so much, now I should stop everything and quit whatever I have been doing. I switched on the TV and all of a sudden, an interview of Deepa Malik flashed on the screen. I started watching it. When I watched her interview, she made me realise how wrong I was feeling about quitting everything.”
We reported a few months ago how the actor’s Meer Foundation has been associated with the Indian Para-Athletes and ensuring they get the best of opportunities. This is indeed a fantastic and commendable gesture by SRK!
