Aishwarya Rai Bachchan says no to Sanjay Leela Bhansali again?

Rumor mills were doing the rounds that actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was in “developed stages of discussion” over an SLB project just gave up the opportunity to work in Anurag Kashyap’s Gulab Jamun. And this is not the first time the actress rejected her favorite director’s offer as she walked out of ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ as well. And the actress, earlier in an interaction with the media, even revealed the reason saying that the director failed to cast a suitable actor opposite her.

But this time she has a different reason as a source was quoted saying, “The choice was very clear. Aishwarya had to choose between working with Bhansali again and sharing screen space with her husband Abhishek in Anurag Kashyap’s film, as the dates for both films clashed. Aishwarya chose to do the film with her husband. They haven’t worked together for eight years. But more importantly both Abhishek and she have fabulous roles in Gulab Jamun. They play characters they’ve never played before.”

Well Aishwarya, this time your reason seems justified!
