SHOCKING: Sushmita Sen reveals how she faced sexual harassment

From Sonam Kapoor Ahuja to Taapsee Pannu to Kalki Koechlin, there have been many Hindi film actors who have fearlessly spoken about their traumatic experiences of sexual harassment, and also how they never succumbed to such advances and gave it back to the offenders. Now, one more Hindi film actor recently opened up about a similar incident where she was sexually harassed, and she is none other than the 1994 Miss Universe, Sushmita Sen.

At a recent event, she poured her heart out and narrated a shocking incident that would boil anyone’s blood, here’s what she had to say, “Six months ago at an award function, a fifteen-year-old boy misbehaved with me as he thought I wouldn’t realize because of the crowd around. But, he was wrong. I grabbed his hand from my behind and I was shocked to see he was so young, he was just fifteen!”

“I held him by his neck and took him for a walk. I told him if I make a hue and cry, his life would be over. He denied having misbehaved at first, but I sternly told him to acknowledge. He realized his mistake, said sorry and promised me that it will never happen again, I didn’t take an action against him because I understood that the fifteen-year-old was not taught that such things are an offence and not entertainment”, added the actor.

Well, it’s high time actors do take actions against such sexual offenders, irrespective of their age, as these instances can prove to be detrimental and traumatic for women and men, both.
