Rest In Peace: Veteran actress Amita Udgata passes away!

Every single time a memorable human being passes away, he or she leaves a void in the hearts of those who the departed soul has inspired. But, let’s not forget that a heavenly abode is inevitable and a part and parcel of life.

One such soul that left for her tour across seven heavens is that of our Dadi Bua from the hit television show Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, which was the veteran actress Amita Udgata.

Reportedly, she breathed her last just about last night after one of her lungs reportedly failed. She was said to be on life support for the past four days.

Apart of being a part of her most recent television stint, she has also been a part of the Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, Doli Armaanon Ki, Maharana Pratap and Baba Aiso Varr Dhundo bandwagons.

Also, on the Bollywood front, she was seen in the Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra-starrer Hasee Toh Phasee and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan‘s Sarbjit.

Amita ji survives with the help of her two children Ruchin and Rishab Udgata. Her last rites will be reportedly performed tomorrow.
