FIRST LOOK: Alia Bhatt warms your heart in Raazi poster
Alia Bhatt is one actor who’s never afraid to break the mold of a so-called “Commercial Heroine”. Immersing the audiences in her intensity and trauma with her second film Highway itself, she proved she’s here to stay and won’t be a yet another forgotten daughter of an industry doyen.
And taking the intense route of the aforementioned film and even Udta Punjab, Alia is back on the big screen with Meghna Gulzar’s next directorial, Raazi. An adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel, Calling Sehmat, the actor portrays the titular role of Sehmat, a Kashmiri spy who’s married to a Pakistani man during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. Alia shared the first poster of the film and it is soaked in warmth. Sharing two other posters on her Twitter timeline as well, she has definitely proved this is one film to lookout for.
