When Ranveer Singh DROPPED OUT of Deadpool 2!

In a fairly recent interview with a handful of noted film journalists post the release of Padmaavat, Ranveer Singh had mentioned that although he thinks that he has somewhat established himself as a mainstream Hindi cinema hero (Courtesy his 7-year-long career, duh!), he was pretty much keen to also play a character in a film where most of the communication will be done in , in his very own words, his other language, which is English.

But, turns out, when fate even got the Khilji of Bollywood remotely close to fulfilling that dream, his currently-in-production flick, Gully Boy, took that dream away from him.

Yes, we know what you read in the headline, and yes, YES, this has something to do with Deadpool 2, but, this is about the Hindi dubbing of the film, which is something that the Zoya Akhtar directorial isn’t really allowing him to do.

A source was quoted saying, “Ranveer was extremely keen but he just couldn’t make time in his Gully Boy schedule as he is shooting at night every day.”

Well, we think we get it.

So, it looks like Singh will not be able to pull off what Tiger Shroff quite recently did with the Hindi version of Spider-Man: Homecoming.
