When fate landed Ranveer Singh into Bollywood!
Time and again, Ranveer Singh has been vocal about his bratty past, from which, we deduce that he was that kid who would be the naughtiest and the noisiest of all the students in his school days, but, would eventually end up being the favourite of one and all. Also, it is a known fact that Singh had no intentions whatsoever to be a part of Bollywood, but a particular germ of films was always a part of him.
How did he contract that particular germ and the dream of making it big in B-Town? Well, after he gate-crashed a Ram Lakhan-themed Bollywood part, whether you believe it or not.
In a fairly old interview, Singh was quoted narrating that old incident, in which he said, “I was 16 years old, in Junior college when my friend Sikander suggested for us to go to a party. The party turned out to be Shaad Ali’s party and had a Ram Lakhan theme. As I entered the house, I see Shanoo Sharma (YRF’s casting director) dancing on the movie’s iconic tunes. So we went inside and I met Shanoo there for the first time. And then we got along like a house on fire.”
Towards the end of it all, miss Sharma was left so impressed with Singh that she actually recommended that the man should consider acting. And then, he fled to US, only to return three years or so later with a dream of making it big in Bollywood, and, the rest, as they, is history.
Such was the fate of this man and it is appreciable as to how life has come around in a circle for him, given that he was even reportedly considered for the Hindi remake of Ram Lakhan by Simmba director, Rohit Shetty!
