Teaser Poster: Diljit Dosanjh impresses us as hockey player Sandeep Singh

We were the first one to inform you that Diljit Dosanjh will essay the role of the iconic Indian Hockey player Sandeep Singh in his next.

Now the makers have shared a teaser poster of the same. The poster features Diljit’s half-hidden face and real star Sandeep is facing us in the backdrop. The first look of the film will be out tomorrow.

Sandeep Singh was a professional hockey player who was once the captain of the Indian national hockey team. He was also the penalty specialist for the team. The movie will tell the story of the time when Singh was shot with a bullet on the Shatabdi Express, due to which he stayed away from the game but helped his team win a medal at the tournament.

Judwaa 2 star Taapsee Pannu will be seen opposite Dilijit in the film. Directed by Shaad Ali, this is Diljit’s first Hindi film as a lead actor. The film is produced by SPNP, Chitrangda Singh, and Deepak Singh.

The first look of Diljit from the film has really excited us!
