Here’s how YOU can live like Baahubali for a day!

Apart from the out-of-the-world vision that director SS Rajamouli showed he is capable of through Baahubali, one thing that cannot be missed about the magnum opus was the ultra-huge set that had been created for the Mahishmati kingdom to come to life.

Have you ever wished to take a stroll around the oh-so-clean lanes of Mahishmati and witness the massive castles where most of the drama took place in the franchise? Well, here’s your chance!

The officials at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, where the 100-acre kingdom of Mahishmati was erected, have decided to retain and reserve the grand sets and it has now open as a tourist spot.

An official of Ramoji Film City said, “A cumulative of over 60 crores was spent on creating the sets of the film over two parts. Besides the set, some props too have been retained for visitors to see. We have many film students, cinema lovers, and even general public visiting us. At the moment, it’s the spot that is attracting maximum tourists for us.”

Wondering what will a trip to the massive kingdom cost you? Well, if you just want to stroll around the lanes and relive the outdoor action, it will cost you about 1250, and if you want to have an inside tour of the castles, be ready to shell out 2400 per head. Of course, there are also going to be special plans for students and corporate employees.

Speaking about the same, Shobu Yarlagadda, the producer of the film said, “The officials at Ramoji approached us with the idea and we were happy to oblige. It took us months to create the set and we were anyway planning to retain the set for later use. What better than to feel that we’ve created something for posterity!”

Wait, use the set for LATER USE? Is Baahubali 3 on the cards?

On the topic of perhaps taking a share of the ticket sales, he said, “We work with Ramoji on a regular basis. There need not be a monetary arrangement between us. Our relationship goes beyond that.”

So, all you Baahubali fanatics, here’s your chance to have a real life feel of the flick!
