Shah Rukh-Anushka starrer sold overseas at a massive amount
OMG you won’t believe how much Rehnuma’s overseas rights cost!
The distribution of a big budget film is a big thing these days. This Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer shows to be no exception. The buzz is that the Imtiaz Ali directorial Rehnuma‘s domestic and overseas distribution rights have been sold to Narendra Hirawat of NH Studioz for as huge an amount as 100 crores.
When contacted Narendra Hirawat, he said, “Yes I have acquired the All India and overseas distribution rights of The Ring, but I will not comment on the cost of the same.” Earlier, the worldwide distribution rights of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale were sold for 170 crores (Domestic 130 crore + Overseas 40 crore).
Being an SRK film, it comes as no surprise that the film has already sold at such a high rate!
