After the hot still, the makers of Baadshaho released the first song titled Mere Rashke Qamar from the movie. The song is a soulful track featuring Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’Cruz and has been shot at picturesque locations in Rajasthan. Director Milan Luthria and Bhushan Kumar, have brought back the golden voice of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, along with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for this track in Baadshaho.

The soulful song has been recomposed by Tanishk Bagchi with lyrics rewritten by Manoj Muntashir.

The film is based on the tale of six badasses during the 1970 emergency era of India. It also stars Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta and Sanjay Mishra in key roles.
