YAYY! Deepika Padukone confirms she’s all set to play a Superhero in a film

Deepika Padukone is all set to star Meghna Gulzar’s next Chhapaak based on the acid attack survivor Laxmi Agrawal. The actress was on a sabbatical after the success of her Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmaavat. On the other hand rumors were also rife that Deepika was all set to play a superhero in a Fox Star Studios’ movie.

Confirming the rumors during an interaction with media Deepika said, “Yes, I’m working on it. I hope it happens. There’s no script as yet. It’s something my friend and I are developing. I was on the plane with a friend from the industry and talking about the movies we’d like to make. We realized that this superhero film is something we’d like to make. It’s a seed we’re nurturing.”
